    Job Title:  FMS Logistics Specialist

    Job Location: Philadelphia, PA.

    Security Clearance: DOD Secret

    Overview / Job Responsibilities:

    Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics and analytical support services to Naval Supply Command (NAVSUP) WSS N52 Transportation Division. Located at 700 Robbins Avenue Philadelphia, PA


    Candidate shall:


    • Provide assistance and logistics support to foreign countries on physical distribution/logistics system for movement and control of FMS material. Provide analysis of transportation aspects of those systems.
    •  Provide indoctrination and guidance to commercial freight forwarders in FMS and MILSTRIP/MILSTRAP procedures based on government sponsor oversight.
    • Provide assistance with evaluating and resolving problems between freight forwarders in tracing claims for missing or damaged freight.
    • Assist in locating, identifying and redirecting frustrated shipments of DoD and FMS material..Assist government personnel in support of MAPAD problems, clarification and instructional usage. Analyze proposed changes to procedures and make recommendations for approval/changes to the Government Sponsor.
    • Collect data on DoD shipping performance and provide analysis data to Government for identification of potential problems and provide recommendations to the Government for suggested improvements. Attend DoD Transportation working groups at the request of the Government Resource Sponsor to obtain/maintain knowledge of current transportation practices and new concepts in the field of international trade and physical distribution

    Minimum Qualifications:


    - US citizen

    - Must hold an Secret Clearance

    - Possess an understanding of transportation and logistics

    - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

    - Familiarity with data base access, information systems

    - Ability to work unsupervised

    - Ability to self-train

    - 1-2 Years of Relevant Experience
