    Job Title:  MC-12 Flight Safety Pilot

    Job Location: Oklahoma City, OK

    Security Clearance: Secret

    Responsibilities

    • Create a proactive and procedure based environment that prevent and mitigate root cause and contributing factors to aviation errors and mishaps
    • Manage the incident and safety reporting system
    • Conduct and assist in airfield risk assessments and reviews 
    • Assist in the coordination of corrective actions with operating departments and facilitate Operational Risk Management techniques within the organization to mitigate identified risks 
    • Assist in managing and coordinating change management, risk assessments and safety analysis 
    • Fly MC-12 aircraft in accordance with AFSOC syllabus to train Tactical System Operator (TSO) 
    • Provide TSO Mission Qualification Training (MQT) and Continuation Training (CT) 
    • Fly MC-12W pilot and sensor operator instructors for the sole purpose of maintaining mission qualification in the MC-12W 
    • Participate in Scenario Development with instructors 
    • Assists with Flight Data Monitoring (FDM). Analyzes the data to provide objective reports for ACT I and AFSOC/A3, AFSOC/SE 
    • Manages relationships with representatives from all operational departments, regulatory authorities/governing bodies (FAA, USAF, AFSOC, NTSB, ICAO, etc.) as job tasks require 
    • Represent the ACT I safety at industry and company meetings, industry conferences and events as well as any industry working groups as assigned

    Qualifications

     

    Candidates who were qualified in the MC-12 and were current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous two years

     

    ---OR---

     

    Aircraft qualified in any AFSOC ISR platform within the last 4 years plus one of the following conditions:

    • (8) years of military operational flying duty
    • At least 100 hours experience as a qualified operator in the MC-12W
    • In lieu of MC-12 qualification, SOF-experienced Pilots with BE-300 type-rating with Proline 21 differences certification are acceptable

    Education:

    • Bacherlor's Degree
