    Job Title:  OPFOR Specialist

    Job Location: Oklahoma City, OK

    Security Clearance:  Secret

    Overview / Job Responsibilities:

    Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), is the special operations component of the United States Air Force. An Air Force major command (MAJCOM), AFSOC is also the U.S. Air Force component command to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), a unified combatant command located at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. AFSOC provides all Air Force Special Operations Forces (SOF) for worldwide deployment and assignment to regional unified combatant commands. 

    • Role-playing a variety of positions to include, but not limited to: ground controller, Ground Force Commander (GFC), ground combat elements, and possibly overall scenario director to include scheme of maneuver and radio communications 
    • Participate in Scenario Development with aircrew instructors and OPFOR team lead to develop training mission requirements 
    • Qualified to lead or follow the mission for both friendly and opposing forces
    • Perform mission support that requires overnight stay in field conditions for multiple days

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Experience in leading or following the ground force mission as either friendly or opposing forces 
    • Experience in operating a wide range of specialized equipment, weapons and vehicles to include, but not limited to, UHF/VHF/FM/HF/SATCOM radios and current Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment. 
    • Capable of operating radios in secure mode with Communications Security (COMSEC). 
    • Capable of providing high tempo training support in austere locations, in inclement weather, under high stress conditions, and may be required to work irregular hours. 
    • Preferred U.S. military veterans with field experience 
    • Secret Clearance
