    Job Title: Central Scheduling Support Specialist

    Job Location: Vacayville, CA

    Security Clearance: Secret

    Responsibilities

    Contingency Response Groups (CRG) with support for scheduling and training functions. Support is required to ensure complete coverage of the Wing’s overall CR operations support requirements. Work will be implemented at two locations that correspond with the 621 CRG and 821 CRG: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB-MDL) and Travis AFB.

     

    • Coordinate with the training officer or training NCO, Unit Deployment Manager (UDM), and Operations Officers (DO) to arrange a schedule to facilitate operations, qualification, upgrade, tests, exercises, and continuation training accomplishment to meet required currency and progression standards, IAW DO priorities
    • Build long- and short-range schedules to ensure full coverage of all instructor, evaluator, support personnel, and supervisor positions using Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS) or future equivalent systems and locally-developed computer database systems as required. 
    • Coordinate with squadron leadership on a daily and weekly basis. Coordinate with other base contractors as required for accomplishment of duties. 
    • Track members leave, temporary duty, scheduled medical appointments or other scheduling commitments. Contractor personnel will deconflict member schedules and coordinate with flight leadership to ensure members are available to meet assigned taskings using Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS) or future equivalent systems to GTIMS, and locally-developed computer database systems as required. 
    • Track daily exercise/ground/academic training requirements and accomplishments to facilitate accurate scheduling in support of the operations officer. Updates will be reported to squadron leadership. 
    • Facilitate last-minute schedule changes to ensure full coverage by working with the current mission commander/operations supervisor (or equivalent) and flight responsible for the shift that is not fully manned. 
    • Publish/post scheduling data for unit long-/short-range ground/academic, exercise, and training event schedules on computer database systems.

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 experience working as a military training manager
    • Minimum 1 year of experience working with GTIMS. 
    • SECRET clearance 
    • USAF experience at the squadron level

    Education:

    • Bachelors Degree
