    Job Title:  Group Training Manager

    Job Location: Vacaville, CA

    Security Clearance: Secret


    Contingency Response Groups (CRG) with support for scheduling and training functions. Support is required to ensure complete coverage of the Wing’s overall CR operations support requirements. Work will be implemented at two locations that correspond with the 621 CRG and 821 CRG: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB-MDL) and Travis AFB.


    • Serve as focal point for all ancillary training policy, data consolidation, and GTIMS management. They will also serve as the Group’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GTIMS.
    • Update data in Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS) or future equivalent systems to GTIMS, and locally-developed computer database systems as required.
    • Interface with Wing Training (CVT) personnel to update the Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS) or future equivalent systems to GTIMS as required.
    • Build, review, and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable Air Force Instructions (AFI 10-202, etc.), associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance. Number of records will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput.
    • Coordinate schedule of classes and administer exams as required. Coordinate with scheduling and external agencies (SFS/CATM, CES/Emergency Management, etc.) to ensure members are scheduled for any training requirements needed to meet the CR’s high state of mission readiness for contingency and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief (HA/DR) employment. Number of classes/exams will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput.
    • Perform Command Job Qualification Standards (CJQS)/Task-Based Training (TBT) syllabi checks to address Sq/DO and UTM concerns. Consolidate information to be used in the Wing’s annual JQS review panel. CJQS/syllabi checks are performed monthly and quarterly.
    • Prepare and execute periodic training/testing plans for approval and scheduling. Coordinates off-site training conferences/seminar attendance.
    • Manages GTIMS employment and utilization across the Group.
    • Provides existing Ancillary Training policy and guidance to squadron training flights.


    • Minimum 3 experience working as a military training manager 
    • Minimum 1 year of experience working with GTIMS. 
    • SECRET clearance 
    • USAF experience at the squadron level


    • Bachelors Degree
