    ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

     

    We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor on seeking candidates to provide support to the U.S. Government, Department of Homeland Security.

    Responsibilities

    The Junior Cost Analyst shall provide cost estimating related support and services. The Junior Cost Analyst shall work under the direction of an experienced cost analysts and shall support the delivery of procurement solutions through the use of mathematical, statistical, and operations research techniques. By working under the direction of a Senior Cost Analysts, the Junior Cost Analyst shall assist in the development of complex cost studies, the preparation of related documentation, and assist with analysis for systems and programs.

     

    The Junior Cost Analyst shall:
    • Review cost artifacts.
    • Prepare reports, presentations and spreadsheets.
    • Support cost research and issue paper development.
    • Assist with database architecture plans.
    • Assist with database architecture development.
    • Assist with the population of databases.
    • Organize and normalize cost data.
    • Provide effective verbal and written correspondence.
    • Support the development of cost estimates.

    Qualifications

    Required:
    • Up to 4 years of experience in support of government acquisition.
    • Demonstrated skill in conducting basic mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods.
    • Demonstrated skill in creating and maintaining databases and working with spreadsheets and complex models.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic work environment and ability to coordinate and perform multiple assignments.
    • Possess communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Demonstrated capability to work under the direction of experienced analysts.
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher

     

    Desired/preferred:
    • Experience with DHS Life Cycle Cost Estimating policies and processes.
    • Experience providing LCCE support to DHS or DHS component(s).
    • Existing DHS Suitability Clearance, and at least a Secret clearance.
