    ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.
    We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor seeking candidates to provide contractor supported Subject Matter Experts (SME) to the 505 TS for Combined Air Operations Center-Nellis (CAOC-N) located at Nellis Air Force Base, NV.

    The mission of the 505th Command and Control Wing (505 CCW) is to build the predominant air and space command and control (C2) capability for joint and combined warfighters through training, testing and exercising under the direction of the United States Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC), Nellis AFB, NV. The 505 CCW consists of two subordinate groups, the 505th Training Group (505 TRG) located at Hurlburt Field, FL and the 505th Test and Evaluation Group (505 TEG) located at Nellis AFB, NV.

    505 TS provides advanced readiness training for C-NAF/C-MAJCOM AOC personnel in conjunction with RED FLAG (RF), VIRTUAL FLAG (VF) and USAF Weapons School Advanced Integration Phase (WSAIP) events.

    CAOC-N hosts over 3,000 visitors and participants per year for RF, VF, WSAIP, and CCMD support exercises and other tests/exercises/events.

    Proposed Period of Performance : 26Sep2018 - 30Apr2022 (Base Period + 4 Option Years)

    Place of Performance : Nellis AFB, NV

    This position is contingent upon Task Order award.


    Provide instruction to Space Duty Officer (SDO), Space Control, Non-Kinetic Duty Officer (NKDO), and Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Duty Officer students on how to manage and integrate Collateral and advanced program space systems effects. The Space SME will be required to plan, instruct, and debrief on the capabilities and limitations, as well as command and control (C2) of strategic, operational, and theater space systems, as well as enemy space capabilities and their potential effects against US, coalition, and commercial systems, platforms and operations. Additionally, the Space SME will be able to make appropriate recommendations regarding delegation of operational Space Coordinating Authority from the Joint Force Commander to the Air Component. The Space SME will coordinate Space inputs in the exercise planning process (Concept Development, Initial Planning, Mid Planning, Final Planning, Exercise Control) to include desired learning objectives and other training objectives with AOC, Coalition and Air Force Space Command exercise planning personnel and participants. The Space SME will develop, test, and publish new Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) to streamline Space, non-kinetic operations, and integrated air and missile defense C2 process.


    • Must have previous missile warning experience at ground based or space based missile warning units.
    • Must have a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum and eligibility for Special Access Programs.
    • Must have prior experience at a geographic AOC with AOC Initial Qualification Training (IQT) complete.
    • Must have a working knowledge of Global Positioning System (GPS) and space control principles to include Space Tasking Orders.
    • Should have Space 200 course complete.
    • Should have previous instructor/evaluator experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
