    ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

    We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor on Joint Strike Fighter Program Office's (JPO) F-35 we are seeking candidates to provide support to US Government.


    The main effort of work is located within the Washington District of Columbia (DC)/National Capital Region (NCR).


    Responsible for:


    Funding document execution and financial reconciliation
    Completion of assigned financial taskings/deliverables accurately, on-time and in accordance with instruction/guidance
    Maintaining good working relationship with USAF and DoN accounting and finance offices (AFDW/FMO, AIR-10)
    Overall management of the DoN and USAF Open Document List (ODL) and Tri-Annual Review (TAR)
    Support program reviews, Critical Design Reviews (CDR), CAM Mid-Year Reviews (MYRs), Total Force (TF) WSS Execution Plans, Training Working Groups (TWG), and Financial Advisory Councils.
    Maintain CAFDEx financial tracking system .
    Provide advice to leadership on budget forecasting and on problems that require resolution or adjustments.
    Input of data to CAM for funding spreads.
    Input of data for Strategic Review Charts and Execution Plans.
    Analyzing information of Success and Failure Points of WSS for fund holders.


    5 years Financial management/accounting experience in DoD acquisition programs
    Experience working with DoN and/or USAF accounting systems (e.g. ABSS, NERP, CCaRS, FMSuite)
    Independently applies knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program or project managers and customers


    Required skills:
    Intermediate-level knowledge of the policies, precedents, goals, objectives, regulations and guidelines of the financial management function
    Intermediate-level knowledge of USAF and/or DoN accounting policies and procedures
    Ability to perform financial execution and accounting work in DoN and USAF financial systems


    Independent - Independently plans and carries out the assignments in conformance with accepted policies and practices
    Judgment - Uses sound judgment, and resourcefulness in developing cost saving methods for customer.
    Standards focused - Conforms with established practices and prescribed procedures
