    ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

    We are a DoD Small Business Prime Contractor seeking candidates to provide support to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Information and Technology (OIT).

    The Office of Information and Technology’s (OIT) mission is to deliver high-quality information technologies and services to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency, other government agencies, the travelling public, and the international trade community in support of the agency’s day-to-day activities to secure the border and facilitate trade and travel. OIT manages CBP’s technology infrastructure and information and technology (I&T) operations in order to enable CBP mission readiness and improve the ability of all employees, including officers and agents in the field, to be proactive and responsive to new threats.

    This position is contingent upon Task Order award.


    Place of performance is in & around the National Capital Region. Period of Performance is one base year plus four option years (5 years total).


    Enterprise Data Management & Engineering provides innovative Information Technology (IT) services and solutions to the Office of Information and Technology (OIT), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) customers. EDMED engineers enterprise solutions providing optimal IT data integrity and accessibility that ensure performance quality, reliability, and 24x7 IT systems availability, which supports the protection of our borders and the facilitation of legitimate trade.

    This position is also in support the CBP Data Center Migration (DCM) Program Management Office, currently within EDME. The overall goal of the CBP DCM Program is to vacate the National Data Center (NDC) facility by September 2019. The OIT DCM Program Management Office (PMO) is a function within OIT EDMED.


    Technical Writer Shall:

    • Support the Government in effectively creating, editing, and finalizing documents associated with the Data Center Migration (DCM) to include technical documents
