Advanced Concepts and Technologies International (ACT I) is a Small Business Prime Contractor providing support to Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  We have an opening and are seeking a Procurement Analyst candidate in our Contract Management Support team the office of the DHS’s Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C) Division in Arlington, Virginia.   


Candidates shall provide specialized expertise supporting DHS CS&C Financial Team within NPPD with review, processing and tracking of vendor payments including the processing of funds reclassification, funds distribution and funds certification.  Supports project objectives through analyzing and synthesizing data and presenting the analysis to the client. The candidate should also have financial planning, execution and acquisition operations/business process support services experience. Support includes directly assisting the CS&C Senior Government staff, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Procurement Teams, and contractor team staff with generation of routine and custom reports from Federal Financial Management System (FFMS) and coordination for CS&C Leadership and offices.


Generate routine and custom procurement reports on financial and contract status to senior staff utilizing DHS financial systems and Microsoft Office Applications.


•    The candidate shall have a bachelor’s degree and 2 of relevant experience in providing procurement analysis support.
•    The candidate should have DHS Suitability and a Secret Clearance is desired.
•    Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
•    Ability to read and interpret office communications and correspondence, direct and assign taskings to appropriate SMEs and points of contact for response;
•    Candidate must be proficient in various types of information technology resources such as Microsoft Office including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint, and SharePoint;
•    Experience with DHSs FFMS, ALVS, PRISM, and ExecSec tasking system and invoice processing is highly desired.
•    Financial experience, analysis, generating financial reports.
