B-52H (EW) Defensive Systems Capability Cost-Based Analyst

Overview

ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.
 
We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor and are seeking candidates in support of the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) supporting B-1B Logistics, Acquisition Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Capabilities Development, and Operations Planning/Policy Advisory and Assistance Services.
 
All work will principally be performed at HQ AFGSC, at Barksdale AFB, LA.

Responsibilities

The objective of this task is to provide technical/analytical cost based support to inform Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) leadership on procurement decisions for the B-52 defensive system capabilities. Results-based performance measures are necessary to effectively monitor and
drive strategic plan development and implementation, while simultaneously satisfying guidance from Higher Headquarters and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to effectively meet cost parameters in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

The candidate (analyst) shall demonstrate the following qualifications :
- Analysts must have previous headquarters staff experience at the Major Command (MAJCOM) level
- Analyst must have 5-12 years of relevant experience (Life Cycle Cost Estimating and B-52 Instructor EWO, respectively)
- Shall be an effective writer and possess strong presentation skills amongst leadership
- Analyst must be able to perform duties and functions using NIPRNET, SIPRNET, Microsoft Office suite and mission planning software associated with B-52H flying operations
- Analyst shall possess demonstrated cost based analysis experience with the B-52 weapon system

-- Must possess an active SECRET Clearance.


- The employee shall have sufficient expertise to support all aspects of cost based analysis for B-52H defensive systems operations to include modernization, shortfalls and procurement of new and emerging technologies in support of the B-52H defensive weapon system capabilities. Prior experience in resourcing/funding bomber operational capabilities is desired.
