    ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

    We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor seeking candidates to provide support with the subject expertise, knowledge, skills and abilities to provide advisory, assistance and project management support to all work (planning, research, data
    collection, analysis, design, development, execution, and assessment) required to augment three Focus Areas (FA) within Marine Corps Logistics Command’s (MARCORLOGCOM) audit readiness efforts.

     

    Proposed Period of Performance: 29Jun2018 - 28 Jun2021 (One Base Year + Two Option Years)

    Place of Performance:  The location for these efforts is at the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA and Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, CA. Short-term temporary additional duty may be required to the following locations:
    • Headquarters, United States Marine Corps, Arlington, VA
    • Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA
    • Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, CA
    • Marine Corps Support Facility, Blount Island / Jacksonville FL

     

    This opportunity is contingent upon Task Order award.

    Responsibilities

    This position is located at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) in Albany, GA and supports the MARCORLOGCOM Audit Readiness Augmentation requirement.

     

    The candidate manages business process reengineering transformation projects, requiring project leadership, planning, reporting, team member guidance, and issue resolution; motivates management and transformation team members to help them understand opportunities for breakthrough change; develops a change management plan to guide the organization through the transformation of the old to the new and reengineered business processes; develops implementation plans; facilitates team meetings to assist management in making clear statements of organizational goals and quantifiable objectives; defines data collection plan and directs process transformation data collection efforts; directs performance measurement and cycle time analysis to define performance expectations and quantify the measures of how work is performed; directs process modeling and simulation activities to complete the design of the business system and to model and simulate sub-processes. Additionally, the candidate oversees definition of roles, jobs, and teams, as well as staffing needs for reengineered business processes; directs activity-based costing to quantify the labor costs associated with specific process tasks, based on current work volumes and staffing; and is capable of managing separate tasks related to Process Transformation and can provide overall guidance to personnel. Specific skill sets include but are not limited to the following:


    • Work closely with clients to identify, analyze, and standardize core business processes and workflows
    • Facilitate workshops with SMEs
    • Document process and work flows
    • Develop clear and detailed process maps and business requirements
    • Identify challenges and risks
    • Utilize an innovative and streamlined approach for managing process improvement and redesign which has the DOD-Wide Continuous Process Improvement/Lean Six Sigma Program as its basis

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, skills, abilities, education:

    • BA or BS Degree
    • 8 + years of experience with enterprise logistics operations and associated information systems
    • Lean Six Sigma
    • Knowledge of logistics procedures and processes
    • Knowledge of and capability to use logistics automated information and data systems
    • Knowledge of Process Mapping and Business Process Reengineering
    • Experienced analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and work flows
    • Experience in facilitating workshops and focus groups
    • Knowledge of business/client engagement skills
    • Experience developing business requirements
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Excellent client-facing consulting skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to use MS Office Suite of tools and applications
