  • Overview

    ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

     

    We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor on Joint Strike Fighter Program Office's (JPO) F-35 Program seeking candidates to provide support to the U.S. Government.

    Responsibilities

    • The Security Specialist Support shall provide DoD and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) multi-discipline security guidance to the JMoD, ATLA, ASO and Japanese industry Contractors.

    • The Security Specialist Support shall establish liaisons with JMoD, ATLA, ASO and Industry Contractor Program Security Officers to provide guidance and mentorship to the dedicated security cadre in developing a security infrastructure to properly
    protect U.S. technology and information.

    • The Security Specialist Support shall assist in the development and writing of all applicable policy documentation for Industrial Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Security Education and Awareness Training.

    • This shall include prescribing security measures that deny unauthorized access to F-35 facilities, equipment, and resources, and protect personnel, information, and property from damage and/or loss of technology.

    • The Security Specialist Support shall ensure that all appropriate international policies and procedures are updated, and all international facilities meet security requirements as outlined in ICD 705, JAFAN 6/0, and the Japan AMCP.

    • The Security Specialist Support shall coordinate all security efforts with the Cyber Security Specialist and the Physical Security Specialist.

    Qualifications

    • Possess a BA/BS degree in National/International Security or Criminal Justice related field of study and a minimum of ten (10) years specialized security experience with emphasis in Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) or similar such as Sensitive
    Compartmented Information (SCIF) construction and SAP or Special Security Office (SSO) operations.
    • If no BA/BS, possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years specialized security experience with emphasis in SAPF/SCIF construction and SAP/SSO operations.
    • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the JAFAN series or DCID series security requirements.
    • Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of the security requirements of JAFAN, DCID series or DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1 through 4.
    • Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of the security requirements of DoDM 5200.01 Volumes 1 through 4 or DoDM 5220-22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of international programs security requirements.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel).

    • Qualifying experience must have been performed during the past five years. In cases requiring experience of more than five years, at least four years of the total experience must be within the past five years. Senior-level employees must have had five of the ten years total relevant experience occur within the last six years and a Journeyman must have had four of the past six years total relevant experience within the last five years.
